Federal government is committed to positive engagement of youths in vocational skills to make them self reliant.

The Director general, industrial Training fund, ITF, Joseph Ari stated this at the closing ceremony of the national industrial skills development programme held in Osogbo.

Correspondent, Abass Okandeji reports that Ari said the programme is in line with federal government policy on job and wealth creation, as well as poverty reduction.

Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola identified vocational skills as key to economic survival of the nation and urged youths embrace vocational skills to make them self reliant.

The event featured presentation of Certificates to the beneficiaries and award of excellence to governor Rauf Aregbesola.
