5 Dead as Boko Haram reportedly return 105 #DapchiGirls
According to Sahara Reporters, Insurgent group Boko Haram has returned the abducted Dapchi Girls to their village.
110 girls were abducted from the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi, in Yobe State.
Sahara Reporters reports that 105 girls have been returned to Dapchi, with the remaining 5 said to be deceased.
The insurgents reportedly returned in the 9-vehicle convoy with which they came to abduct the girls.
Residents of the town reportedly fled the scene, but the insurgents only dropped the girls off before leaving.
It is unclear if the Federal Government paid a ransom to have the girls released.
