One of the aggrieved leaders of the distressed community, Ayo Akinsola said members of the community decided to visit the governor’s office to register their plight with the belief that the state government would address the situation in line with its property protection law against land grabbers
Addressing the protesters, the Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Survey, Isaac Omodewu instructed them to address their compliant to the ministry in a formal letter with an assurance that the situation would be amicably resolved
The protesters were also admonished to avoid confrontation and remain law abiding citizens while the issue is being addressed
