PSG thrash Monaco to win fifth straight Coupe de la Ligue title
Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show as he cut his former club to shreds on Saturday night.
PSG took an early lead through Edinson Cavani’s penalty, which was awarded after consultation with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), after Mbappe was fouled by Kamil Glik.
Angel Di Maria doubled their lead in the 20th minute, latching onto a patch from Mbappe to beat keeper Danijel Subasic at his near post.
Radamel Falcao’s header was controversially ruled out for offside, before Cavani added the third to settle the game with five minutes left.
