As responsible leaders in the society, politicians have been enjoined to refocuse, think and work for the next generation rather than next election.

The call came in Osogbo, the Osun State capital when the African Students Union honour a member of the state house of Assembly, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye with the Pan African leadership Award.

Correspondent, Abass Okandeji reports that the Parliament, which is the apex body of students’ union in Africa is known for working to promote Africanism which is centered around development of Africans.

Speaking on the need for the youth to take their future into their hands, the representatives of the Parliament at the event, said it is high time that the youth fought and attained positions of responsibility and leadership.

The lawmaker, who doubles as the chairman, house committee on information and strategy, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye encouraged political office holders to always serve the interest of the people.
