Nigeria’s D’Tigers began the final round of the FIBA World Cup African qualifiers by defeating Uganda 109-66 at the indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos on Friday night, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Alex Nwora’s side dominated the game all through after a fiesty start in the opening minutes.
The 2015 FIBA AfroBasket champions extended the lead to 29 points to end the third quarter 81-52.
They face Rwanda in their next game on Saturday by 7:30pm.
