Hours After Osinbajo’s Order To Overhaul Operations, SARS Operatives Seen ‘Extorting Passengers’ (Video)
Yesterday, news of Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo’s order to overhaul the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) made Nigerians very excited.
The order came months after a outcry by Nigerians against SARS brutality, with many hoping with this order, there would finally be peace.
However, this doesn’t seem the case as a new video has emerged online showing two SARS operatives continuing with their ‘extortion and harassment’.
In this new video, the officers are seen speaking with people on a bus after apparently stopping the vehicle. It is believed that the operatives are, as usual, holding passengers to ransom before requesting for cash.
At one point, one of the officers is seen stepping inside the bus. The other one stands guard looking on.
Tori.ng cannot verify exactly when the video was taken but local reports claim that the incident happened earlier today in Surulere, Lagos.
