Oshiomole appeals To APC Lawmakers To Reconvene NassThe National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has appealed to the members of the party in the House of Representatives and the Senate to reconvene the parliament by all legal means.Oshiomhole made the appeal shortly after a meeting between the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) and its federal lawmakers held in Abuja.He urged the party members to do everything they can lawfully to get the National Assembly reconvened so that these national issues would be deliberated upon and appropriate decisions reached.Senate Majority Leader Sen Ahmed Lawal,and Sen Olugbenga Ashafa however assured that members will find a way to reconvene the Senate and address the necessary issues having made the sacrifice to stay back.In the meantime, President of the Senate Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, had said that a date has not been set for the reconvening of the Senate and the House of Representatives to consider the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) 2019 elections budget request forwarded by President Muhammadu Buhari on July 17, 2018.
