by: JOSEPH
The popular gospel artist, Kirk Franklin announced that he has
forgiven his aged father who his dying due to a terminal disease, for
giving him out for adoption at infant.
The Grammy-award winning artist posted a picture of himself and his
biological father, who he has never met on his instagram.
He made the decision to forgive his dying father because he received a
call from an unknown person that his biological father has
three-to-six months to live.
He said: āTwo days ago, I received an anonymous call that my
biological father, who I never knew, has three-six months to live.
āIāve lived my entire life hating this man.
āHe and my biological mother gave me up for adoption, and it left me
never feeling good enoughā¦.to this very day.
āI took my hate for him and used it as fuel to be the best father I
could be for my own.
āBut what I did wrong, is I never took that fuel, and turn it into
forgivenessā¦.and that is wrong. Wrong for him, me, and the God I
procl
aim to represent. How can I preach what I donāt practice?ā
