OSUN: POLICE PREVENT ALLEGED BLACKMAILERS OF OSUN LAWMAKER FROM BEING MOBBED
By Joseph
Security Operatives have prevented alleged blackmailers of the Osun
House of Assembly Majority Leader, Timothy Owoeye from being hacked
down by angry supporters of the lawmaker, as they returned to court.
The Security personnel had a hectic time controlling hundreds of
supporters of the lawmaker, who trooped to the court in solidarity
with the lawmaker.
The accused persons who were brought into the court premises amidst
heavy presence of armed prison officers and policemen had there faces
covered. This further annoyed the crowd.
According to reports, a man suspected to be sympathetic to the accused
persons was stripped naked and injured by some of the lawmaker’s
supporters.
Owoeye’s nude video went viral on Saturday. He was alleged to have
been tricked and defrauded by the suspects.
The nude video was said to be recorded to prevent him from reporting
the fraud to the police.
