HUMAN RIGHTS GROUP DETECTS PLAN TO WEAKEN ANTI-TERRORISM WAR
The Coalition on Conflict Resolution and Human Rights in Nigeria has alleged plot by foreign agents to dent the country’s anti-insurgency war through unhealthy reports.
The group faulted notable foreign media outfits, accusing them of projecting the activities of Boko Haram terrorists with a hidden agenda.
The group’s national president, Maxwell Gowon, who made this allegation in a press conference held in Abuja, sid the news agencies in question were poised on destabilising the nation through “false, malicious, unsubstantiated and fabricated writings to frustrate the Federal Government” in its quest to defeat insurgency in the North East and parts of the federation.
