MTV AWARDS: TIWA SAVAGE,DAVIDO IN; WIZKID MISSING
The duo of Tiwa Savage and Davido have been nominated in the 2018 MTV Europe Music Award in the Best African Act category.
In the nominees’ list that was unveiled on Thursday, Tiwa Savage and Davido were nominated alongside Fally Ipupa (Democratic Republic of Congo), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), Nyashinki (Kenya), and Shekhinah (South Africa).
Cuban-American singer, Camila Cabello emerged the most nominated artist with nods in six categories including “Best Artist” and “Best Video” for “Havana” featuring Young Thug. Ariana Grande and Post Malone are very close behind with five nominations each. Drake, Shawn Mendes and Dua Lipa also snagged an impressive number of nods with nominations in four categories each.
