Success Misses Out On Watford Goal Of The Month Award
Success, 22, came second behind Gray according to the result of the polls made available on Watford’s official website on Friday.
The former Granada of Spain striker polled 33% of the votes while the winner Gray amassed 41%. Troy Deeney and Craig
Cathcart got 19% and 8% to finish in third and fourth positions respectively.
He got the opening goal of the encounter with an audacious strike from 12 yards after using his strength and pace to beat off challenge from his marker.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw in regulation time with Tottenham Hotspur advancing into the fourth round after winning 4-2 on penalties.
It was the closest Success has come in winning an individual accolade since linking up with Watford from Spanish side, Granada in 2016.
He has struggled to maintain top form since his arrival at the club due to injuries and loss of form. He spent the second half of last season at Spanish club, Malaga.
Success has made nine appearances in all competitions for the Hornets this season scoring twice.
