Stoke Coach Rowett Hints Etebo In Good Shape For Bristol City Clash
Etebo missed the Potters’ 1-1 away draw against Sheffield Wednesday at the Bramall Lane on Tuesday due to injury.
The former Warri Wolves star last featured for Stoke City in their 1-0 away win against Norwich City at the Carrow Road before the recent international break.
“Sam Clucas trained today and looked good. The weekend will probably come too soon for him though. Peter Etebo trained also which is a positive. One or two who have knocks didn’t train today,” Rowett stated in his pre-match presw conference ahead of Saturday’s visit to Bristol City.
Stoke City occupy 17th position in the table with 17 points from 14 games.
Etebo has made 11 appearances for the Potters in the Championship this season and is yet to register a goal.
The 22-year-old linked up with Stoke City from Portuguese side, CD Feirense this summer.
