Iwobi Shines In Arsenal’s Draw At Palace; Moses Benched In Chelsea Win

Super Eagles rave of the moment Alex Iwobi made his fifth English Premier League start for Arsenal who remained unbeaten after 12 games following their 2-2 draw away at Crystal Palace on Sunday at Selhurst Park reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Luka Milivojevic smashed in a penalty in 44th minute to hand Palace the lead but two second half goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal a 2-1 lead.
Milivojevic struck a late penalty to salvage a point for the Eagles.
Iwobi carved out the first real chance of the game when played a one-two with Alexander Lacazette before he fired his shot off target from 18 yards in the 15th minute.
The Nigerian international, Iwobi played the entire duration of the draw. It was Iwobi’s eight appearance in the EPL.
In the second half, Xhaka curled in a free-kick to restore parity for the Eagles.
Aubameyang shot Arsenal into the lead for the first time in the encounter four minutes later with a close range finish.
In the 83rd minute, Arsenal conceded a penalty after Wilfred Zaha was fouled Xhaka in the penalty area challenge.
The resultant spot kick was scored by Milivojevic.
At Turf Moor, Victor Moses was excluded from Chelsea’s squad that defeated Burnley 4-0 in an English Premier League game played on Sunday.
The 27 year old who has made two substitute appearances for Chelsea in the EPL has been left out of the Blues last three match day squad.
Alvaro Morata poked in a fine pass from Ross Barkley for the opener in the 17th minute.
Goals from Barkley in the 57th minute and another curler from Willian in the 67th minute secures a 3-0 win for the Blues.
Ruben Loftus Cheek wrapped up the win in additional time finishing off a deflected shot past Joe Hart from close range.
