GTBANK FASHION WEEKEND: A DISPLAY OF GLAMOUR
The much awaited GTBank Fashion Weekend has come and gone, the event which set the entire city of Lagos on search light took place last Saturday and Sunday with the presence of twenty international models, fourteen exclusive designers across Africa, Europe and America, the mass media and a crowd of fashion aficionados.
GTBank Fashion Weekend was organized with the objectives of promoting enterprise and enriching the lives of its customers. It was held at Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event provide an opportunity for the best and most sought after fashion houses as well as the most promising and talented retail brands to showcase latest fashion trends, accessories and beauty products to a large and diverse audience.
The activities include, fashion exhibition, entrepreneurial and fashion master classes in which participants has the opportunity to learn from global industry leaders and experienced brands.
The highlight of the event was the runway show. With top dignitaries, designers and celebrities taking their place on the front row, designers presented everything – from casual work wear to evening looks – to thousands of fashion enthusiasts.
The main focus of the event, according to GT bank, is to enrich the lives of their customers while providing a critical meeting place for everyone involved in and passionate about African fashion in a bid to unlock greater growth opportunities for small businesses in the industry and to build capacity across the entire fashion value-chain.
