SAD! BRIDE SHOT MINUTES BEFORE EXCHANGING ‘MARRIAGE VOWS’ WITH HER GROOM

A 19-year-old bride was shot by a yet to be identified man in Shakarpur area of Delhi in India on Thursday.

The man fired as soon as the bride and groom came on stage for exchanging garlands a man fired gunshots. The woman suffered a wound in her leg.

According to news agency ANI, the survivor bride, identified as Pooja, was immediately rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, her condition was normalised and the wedding rituals resumed further. 

Reportedly, during the preliminary probe, the Delhi Police said that the attacker was known by the bride. However, the groom told the agency that he was unable to identify the miscreant.

The attacker is absconding and further investigation is underway to find out whether the firing was intentional or not. 

 In a similar incident reported last November, a groom was shot by two miscreants as he rode his chariot for his wedding in Delhi.

However, the groom bandaged and returned in just three hours after his surgery. The couple then complete their wedding rituals.
