NPFL MATCH DAY 10: MFM OVERPOWERS SUNSHINE STARS
Joseph Omoniyi
Adeniji Adewole Kabiru and Michael Ohanu scored 1 goal each in both halves as MFM FC of Lagos overpowered visiting Sunshine stars by 2 goals to nil.
A fantastic strike by Adeniji Kabiru, just before the referee’s halftime whistle had put the Olukoya Boys ahead.
The striker’s right footed shot proved too powerful for the Sunshine goalkeeper to handle.
Kabiru who now has four in his goal tally this season, could have made it a comfortable 3-nil lead for MFM FC, but he missed a one-on-one chance, rooting the ball way above the cross-bar.
The win means MFM remain at the summit of the Group A table of the NPFL.
