ARABIC TEACHER STRANGLES NINE-YEAR-OLD PUPIL TO DEATH
A 9-year-old pupil of Muhawshat Primary School, in Taraba has been strangled to death by his Arabic teacher.

According to report, Muhammaded Suddas Umar Yola is the son of a prominent Jalingo-based businessman, he got missing on Sunday when he went for Magrib prayer in a Mosque close to his father’s house.
When he did not return home after the prayer, he was searched for by an organised group.
A friend of Suddas, informed his parents how the Arabic teacher Hashiru Bala, has been asking them about the movement of the victim as well as his siblings
It was at this point that the teacher was called in and asked if he had seen the boy.
He initially denied ever seeing the victim but when operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) were called in, he confessed that he strangled the boy to death.
Hashiru led security operatives to the place where he dumped the dead body of the boy.
A senior DSS officer, who spoke on the basis of anonymity, confirmed the incident.
Reasons for this unjustifiable act are yet to be identified
