JUST IN: APC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE’S AIDE CAUGHT WITH LARGE BAGS OF MONEY

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC said it has intercepted some large bags of money at the North Bank Area of Makurdi, in Benue.
The money was said to have been retrieved from unnamed men who attacked operatives of EFCC and vandalised their vehicles in a bid to escape with the money.
The Commission shared the story on their official Facebook page and revealed that the money belongs to the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State, Emmanuel Jimeh.
EFCC wrote on Facebook;
“At the North Bank Area, Makurdi, a man was caught with large bags containing lots of money. While trying to arrest him, officers of the Commission were attacked and vehicles vandalised. Information gathered confirms that the money belongs to Emmanuel Jimeh, the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Benue state.”
