Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has responded to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN visit to Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA on Sunday.
Dakolo reacted through her Instagram handle by posting that the truth will always prevail no matter how long anyone tries to cover up.
He wrote “The truth always win”
His reaction was triggered by a statement signed on Tuesday by CAN’s National Director of Legal and Public Affairs, Evangelist Barrister Kwamkur Samuel Vondip, said pastors who had visited the church were on their own and that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria had set up a panel to investigate the rape allegation against Fatoyinbo.
Recall that the Abuja CAN Chairman, Rev. Jonah Samson and his North Central counterpart, Rev. Israel Akanji, on Sunday visited COZA.
The leaders pledged to stand by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who was accused of rape by Mrs. Busola Dakolo and a staff of COZA.
However,PFN has dissociated itself from the visit, and stressed that the association will not support immorality.
The statement read, “…Those who did so did it on their own. We stand by our earlier release on this issue that while we would never support any act of immorality from whatever quarter.
“We can tell you PFN has constituted a panel investigating the matter, and in less than two weeks, the outcome of the investigation will come out.
“We urge all Christian brothers and sisters to know that this is the position of CAN.
“We would not spare anyone found wanting from facing appropriate disciplinary actions.”
