Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has pleaded with Nigerians to uphold their trust and follow President Muhammadu Buhari on the next level journey he promised.
President Buhari and his Vice Osinbajo were re-elected earlier this year and sworn in for a second term in May, but have had to deal with reports of issues in their relationship.
Osinbajo has however pledged his loyalty to the president whom he referred to as the “best boss” on Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary.
“Fellow Nigerians, be rest assured that President Muhammadu Buhari is totally committed to his promises and the Next Level Agenda.” he said.
The Vice-president promised to stand by the president to deliver his promises to the Nigerian people and the country’s future.
Osinbajo and the presidency have denied several reports of a rift between him and President Buhari, he also said he’ll initiate legal action against those who accused him of corrupt practices.
