NIGERIA MOURNS OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALIST, ISAAC PROMISE
Former Nigeria striker, Isaac Promise, has died at the age of 31 after a brief illness.
His death was confirmed on twitter by his club, Austin Bold FC on the night of Wednesday, October 2, 2019 but the particular illness was not revealed.
Isaac, was the captain of Nigeria at the 2003 Fifa U17 World Cup held in Finland, and also at the 2005 Fifa U20 World Cup in the Netherlands.
He also played a key role for Nigeria at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing where he bagged a silver medal with the U-23 team.
