DAVIDO, OTHERS CONGRATULATES BANKY W FOR PDP HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TICKET

David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has shown his support for his colleague Olubankole Wellington, who won the People’s Democratic Party primaries on Monday.

After securing 28 of the 31 votes cast by delegates at the primary, the politician known as Banky W was proclaimed the winner of the Eti-Osa House of Representative ticket for the upcoming 2023 general election.

“Congrats @BankyW!” Davido tweeted on Tuesday, expressing his support for the EME leader. You’ve got my support! Don’t grumble from your couch; get up and make a difference.”

Other celebs have thanked Wellington and showed their support, including Big Brother Naija presenter, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

“One building block at a time. Congrats @BankyW! Time to prepare even harder bro,” he tweeted on Tuesday.

Hip-hop icon, MI Abaga wrote “Many will talk, few will do. Congrats @BankyW.”

DJ Neptune also congratulated the singer on twitter saying, “Congrats Banky W!”

“Congratulations @BankyW on securing PDP Primaries ticket for House Of Representatives,” Popular businessman, Obi Cubana, tweeted.
