NEWS FLASH: TINUBU FACES APC PRESIDENTIAL SCREENING TODAY
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential candidate running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, will be inspected today.
The APC had previously announced that its presidential screening would take place over two days, beginning today.
This is due to the fact that former President Goodluck Jonathan’s name does not appear on the list of candidates who will be examined.
The list received by newsmen includes twenty-three applicants.
According to a source, the screening would take place in a high-end Abuja hotel.
Senate President Ahmed Lawan and former ministers Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonaya Onu, Godswill Akpabio, and Chukwuemeja Nwajiuba are among those on the list, in addition to Tinubu and Osinbajo.
Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Ben Ayade (Cross River), and Badaru Abubakar (Cross River) are among the governors who have been nominated for the screening (Jigawa).
The others are former Senate President Ken Nnamani, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Dimeji Bankole, and current Senators Ibikunle Amosun, Ajayi Boroffice, and Rochas Okorocha.
President Buhari’s running partners in 2011, Nicholas Felix, Ahmad Rufai Sani, Tein Jack-Rich, and Ikeobasi Mokelu are reportedly slated to face the screening panel.
