The remand order was issued by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.

Anyim Chinenye, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress and a close supporter of the ex-governor, is anticipated to join Okorocha in EFCC detention.

The EFCC charged Okorocha, Chinenye, and five entities with 17 counts of money laundering.

Ekwo postponed the hearing on Okorocha and Chinenye’s bail applications till Tuesday.
