Nigerian singer Sarah Aderibigbe, widely known as Ayra Starr, has spoken about her spirituality and personal beliefs.
During a recent livestream conversation with TikToker Jarvis, the singer shared that her spiritual aspiration is to be “as perfect as Jesus.”
She added that while she does not consider herself highly religious, she is deeply committed to her spirituality.
“I’m working towards being as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it goes beyond just attending church. God says, ‘let it be done according to your faith,’ and I’ve discovered what works best for me,” she said.

Starr noted that for now, embracing spirituality over strict religiosity suits her, though she acknowledged that her perspective could evolve in the future.
The singer also revealed that she is stepping into the film industry.
She mentioned that she started acting last year and expects her first movie to be released this year.
