BREAKING @ APC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES: SENA. GODSWILL AKPABIO, AMOSUN STEP DOWN FOR TINUBU
All Progressive Congress Presidential Aspirants, Sen. Godswill Akpabio and former Ogen State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun have both stepped down from the race as party flag bearer for the 2023 general election, pledging their support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Both aspirant who hailed from the south side of the Country made this declaration at the ongoing APC Convention at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
When speaking at the podium, Akpabio and Amosun stated that their decision to step down was based on a thorough analysis of the most qualified candidate for the party’s general election in 2023, which happens to be Tinubu.
