PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES: ATIKU CONGRATULATES ASIWAJU TINUBU
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, congratulated Bola Tinubu on his victory in the All Progressives Congress’ presidential primaries.
After defeating Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and former Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki, among others, Abubakar emerged as the opposition party’s nominee at the PDP special convention in May.
The former vice president congratulated the former governor of Lagos State on his social media accounts, adding that the APC presidential primary was a tough fight.
“Congratulations, @officialABAT, on your emergence as your party’s presidential candidate. It has been a hard-fought contest, but that you prevailed confirms your tenacity,” he wrote.
