Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, has reacted to a post by a Nigerian man who took to Twitter to accuse singer, Wande Coal and his gang of assaulting his brother without a cause.

He stated that, the police will not act on social media report except when it is a distress or emergency.

He added that when a case is reported at the nearest police station, the police will do their bit.

In the post the Twitter user, @Folarin_AA called out Wande Coal and his group for hitting his elder brother, vowing that they will not get away with it.

The tweep in also in the post narrated that Wande Coal and his gang started beating the brother for no reason after they asked him to make way for them by moving his car which he obliged and went for his car keys to move so they move out.

According to the post, they started beating the brother when he was about to move the car for them to move out and they actually gave him the beating of his life since he was crying when he called to narrate whatever transpired between them.

The tweep also vowed that he knows that the elder brother didn’t say anything to them to warrant whatever they did to him because he’s the coolest person they could come across in life.

He also stated that even the way he was crying shows how well they assaulted him just because his car was packed behind their car in a public place we supposed.

While responding to the tweet, the PPRO said, “@chrisrock slapped @willsmith on live.TV. Millions witnessed it. Yet, LAPD declined the to arrest Will except Chris files a report. Report incidents at nearest police station. We won’t act on social Media report except it’s a distress/emergency. Do your part and we will do the rest.”
