JUST IN: KWANKWASO CONSIDERS GOVERNOR KINGSLEY MOGHALU AND BISHOP ISAAC IDAHOSA
By Sumayyah Olapade
Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the nominee for the New Nigeria Peoples Party, is thinking about selecting a governor who is currently in office as his running partner.
It was reported that those under consideration were screened on Wednesday.
Other people examined included Kingsley Moghalu, Madam Charity from Bayelsa State, and Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.
This is coming amid reports that a popular pastor in Lagos State, Idahosa, has been chosen to be Kwankwaso’s running mate.
Idahosa serves as the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry, commonly known as Illumination Assembly, whose main office is located in Ajah, Lagos State’s Lekki Light Centre.
The insider responded when asked if Idahosa had been chosen as Kwankwaso’s running companion, “He is among those considering. He and three other people went through screening yesterday (Wednesday).
“The Twitter account being cited is not the party’s; we could not have made the announcement in that manner. Before tomorrow, we will announce our running mate.
