OWO MASSACRE: ANOTHER VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL

The Ondo State Government has disclosed that one of the victims of the terrorist attack on a church in Owo has passed away in the hospital.
On June 5, 2022, no fewer than 40 members of St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo were murdered by terrorists who have not yet been apprehended. However, the most recent event has increased the total to 41.
The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Akure, the state capital after the state council meeting on Wednesday evening.
According to the commissioner, the victim gave up the ghost while receiving treatment in the hospital.
In reference to the terror attack on St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo on June 5, 2022, she stated, “One more dead has been registered.”
Ademola-Olateju added that the number of fatalities is now 41 while 17 persons were still being hospitalised.
The Commissioner reiterated the state government’s commitment to have a memorial site created in honor of all the victims while expressing sympathy to the lost families and wishing for a quick recovery for those who are still in the hospital.
