
JUST IN: FAYEMI APPROVES APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARIES FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCILS AND LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREAS
On Monday, Governor Kayode Fayemi approved the appointment of secretaries for Local government councils and Local council development areas in Ekiti state, adding that the appointment is with immediate effect.
This new development was made known in a statement signed by Yinka Oyebode, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and obtained by Hotjist.
The statement reads in part, “In a bid to further strengthen local government administration in Ekiti State, the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has approved the appointment of 35 secretaries for the 16 Local Government Councils and 19 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the State.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
While congratulating the newly appointed secretaries, the Governor urged them to work hand-in-hand with other officials in their respective councils in ensuring remarkable development at the grassroots level.
