
JUST IN: APC SENATORIAL CANDIDATE DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

The Senatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Jigawa Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya has died.
Gaya was said to have passed on in an Abuja after a brief illness.
His remains will be interred according to Islamic rites by 4pm in Kiyawa Town.
Formerly of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gaya had served as the House of Representatives member for the Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2015.
He had also contested for governorship of Jigawa State in 2019 on the platform of the PDP but lost out to Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim in the primaries.
