
CRIME: POLICE ARREST FIVE SUSPECTED TRAFFIC ROBBERS IN LAGOS

On Thursday, 13th of October, 2022, men of the Nigeria Police Force, Ketu division’s patrol team arrested five men suspected to be traffic robbers.
This was mentioned in a Tweet by the LAgos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday.
The suspects according to the PPRO, were arrested at about 11am at the Kosofe bus-stop along Ikorodu road.
He added that the five suspects who were between the ages of 18 and 28 years were arrested by the Ketu Division’s patrol team for swooping on a motorist at the bus-stop, leading to the arrest of two others.
As at the time of filing this report, the PPRO stated that investigation is ongoing on the matter.
The Tweet reads, “Yesterday, at about 1100hrs, five traffic robbers swooped on a motorist at Kosofe bus stop along Ikorodu Road. Ketu Division’s patrol team arrested them all, leading to the arrest of two others. Suspects range between 18 and 28 years old. Investigation is ongoing.
