
LAGOS – IBADAN EXPRESSWAY: SECURITY AGENCIES MEET IN IBADAN TO BRAINSTORM

The General Officer Commanding 2 Division, Maj Gen Aminu Chinade hosted all Heads of Security and Para Military Agencies in Oyo State on Tuesday, to brainstorm on the rising wave of criminality in Ibadan and its environs as well as kidnappings on the Lagos- Ibadan Express Road.
During his opening remarks, Gen Chinade called for more concerted efforts from all to tackle the recent rise in criminality, and advocated for more cooperation to stop this dastardly act on the Lagos- Ibadan Express Road by these undesirable elements. Also, the GOC solicited for better ideas in information sharing and monitoring among the security agencies. This the GOC believes will put the security agencies ahead in planning robust ways of countering the nefarious activities of this hoodlums.
The meeting generated frank discussions from all and an agreement that such meetings should held regularly to address issues that boarder on security speedily.
In attendance includes- the Commander 671 Nigerian Air Force Detachment, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State, Director State Services and other Heads of Security Agencies in Oyo State.
