UPDATE: SAMMIE OKPOSO’S FAMILY BREAKS SILENCE ON HIS DEATH
The gospel singer Sammie Okposo passed away suddenly on Friday morning, and his family has now spoken out about his passing.
The singer’s family sent a statement bearing Hecter Okposo’s signature confirming the singer’s passing.
However, the family chose not to mention Sammie’s cause of death in the statement.
It read, “It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that I announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Minister of God, Sammie Okposo.
“More details about the burial will be communicated soon.
“We are consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels. We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time.”
Following confirmation from the deceased’s project manager, Hillary Vincent, Hotjist reported on the singer’s passing.
Although the exact cause of his passing is yet unknown, unconfirmed reports claim that the singer slumped before being declared dead.
He was a well-known music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment, often known as “the Wellu Wellu master.”
