In an interview with hotjist.com , Precious and Emmanuel attributed their success to their faith in God. When asked about who impacted her the most, Precious Okon said: “That would be God. He really is my source. He helped me understand the big plans he had for my life, and expanded my capacity to accommodate them.”
Both valedictorians were active participants in school and club activities saying that it enabled them to manage their time wisely and have a better understanding of the responsibilities that they can take on. Emmanuel Obayemi mentioned that he was the pioneer president of Nile University Accounting Student’s Association (NUASA) but he “wasn’t very active in club activities until then.”

Precious joined the Society of Petroleum Engineers in her first year and served as the Vice President and President,in her third and the fourth year respectively. She was a member of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students’ Association(NUESA), where she served as the Assistant Social Director within her first and second years, and the Financial Secretary within her second and third years. She also served with the Nile Christian Fellowship, as the choir director in her third year, and eventually became the President in her fourth year.

Precious Okon and Emmanuel Obayemi have great plans for the future, but would both like to complete their NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) first.
