TRIBUTES:

Seun played his part and he has departed. We will miss him greatly. May the Lord rest his soul!! I remember the hug he gave me when I came for my dad’s funeral.

Rest on Soldier!!!

Saying goodbye isn’t for us. Instead, I will say that I look forward to seeing my friend again, each time I am reminded of him through a phrase, a joke, even an article of clothing. These are the things that will keep us close despite death.

Loss of a friendship through death is a cruel and cold companion. Warmth is found through fond memories, so curl up with them whenever you need to.”

He has done his best and he has gone to meet his maker.

Truly Seun is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. It is quite difficult for me at this moment but God knows the best.

Oluwaseun Adeleke! You were a man of your own, not disturbed by public opinion but lived your life in your way!

Your brothers of 85 Set will surely suffer the void, your friends, the hugs, banters, nudges and rubbing of unshaved cheeks in show of affection.

We will miss your magical appearances on the platform, “apari”, who’s going to call us “ojuigo” and “awo lo”

Your old parents their son, their only hope of natural extension

Their hope of last commendation and executor of their home going funeral

Your daughter, even your most cherished treasure, always hanging with “Daddy” in the front seat, how is she to get by and on?

I speak to your soul as if you can hear Seun, but you bowed out too soon!

Take comfort in the lord Jesus who saves without prejudice – he has mercy on those he wills and forgives those that come to him, even all without an exception

I celebrate your salvation as I know you slept in Christ and this is gain to all who follow the line but we mourn the consequences of your loss here in this world

Rest your soul brother, sleep peacefully in Christ’s bossom until the day of resurrection of the saints

Now we can SADLY say

😭

What a life! What a death! Seun Adeleke you are very much loved by all…that was a great attribute you had. A jolly good fellow. What you see is what you get. If he is happy, he will be all over you. If he is not happy, he would not hesitate to tell you. Everything and everyone dies at some point. That is the cycle of life. All flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower. The grass withers and the flower falls off. Everything and everyone is bound by time. A time to be born and a time to die. For Seun, the time to die came in January 2023. We pray that your death will not trigger a series in our midst. We pray that the Almighty Father will console, condole and comfort all of us including your immediate and extended family members. A ku ara fe ara ku o. A o ni ku iku ojiji. A o jo ni asepe ti ti. Amin Ase Tuo.

(Seye Arowolo)

I am still trying to wrap my head around Seun’s demise.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Seun, you had lots of moments that took your breath away.

Rest in peace.

🙏🏻

SEUN ADELEKE IS A GREAT LOSS TO OUR SET.

On the death of a Seun, we should consider that the fates through confidence have devolved on us the task of a double living, that we have henceforth to fulfill the promise of our friend’s life also, in our own, to the world.

The loss of Seun is like that of a limb; time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired.

Seun will always be happy ,say the truth and fire anybody that believes he is above the world.

(Kunle Oladeji)

Seun, you came to this life to fight and win the race. You are such a opened hearted guy who does not hide his feelings. I love and will miss you bro. Till will meet to part no more, rest in peace.

The passing away of Ṣeun Adélékè is a very sad news and a rude shock indeed.

The journey has ended for the charming man and we mourn his death. He was a great character who always seemed very strong and in control.

May his entire family, including us, be comforted by the Almighty. May his soul RIP! Amen!!!

(Yinka Thomas)

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
A thought of comfort and condolences to Seun Adeleke’s family , friends and entire 85 set.

I pray that the good Lord will protect and guide all he left behind and the rest of us. Amen.

RIP SEUN A!!!

We do not choose to be born.
We do not choose our parents.
We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death but within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live. We are what we repeatedly do, EXCELLENCE therefore is not an act but a HABIT and life is so short that we may have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those traveling the dark journey with us, let’s make haste to be kind cos the greatest HAPPINESS of LIFE is the conviction that we are loved.
