On Thursday, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, wished Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, a happy 63rd birthday.
On Thursday, the former Federal Capital Territory minister celebrated his 63rd birthday.
El-Rufai was praised by Tinubu as a dedicated public servant who has demonstrated high levels of competence in the many public jobs he has held in a statement released by his media assistant, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz.
El-Rufai was complimented by the former governor of Lagos State for having “a strong willed who puts his all to any cause he believes in.”
“Mallam El-Rufai has admirably transformed himself from a “accidental public servant” to a successful individual whose accomplishments are praised by both allies and adversaries.
“As a politician and patriot, Mallam El-Rufai has played crucial roles at different turning points of our recent political developments, especially in the activities leading to the formation of our great party, the All Progressives Congress,” the statement said.
“He has continued to make useful contributions within the party and our campaign to win the upcoming election so that we can give our people renewed hope in a better, stronger, and more prosperous Nigeria.
In order to better serve the people of Kaduna State and Nigeria, Tinubu prayed for the governor of Kaduna to gain knowledge and stay healthy.
