Going to his Instagram page in a live video on Wednesday, the musician characterized Sanwo-Olu as the appropriate fit for the position of governing Lagos.
He based his backing on the accomplishments Sanwo-Olu completed during his first time in government, including infrastructure improvements.

yet given the direction Lagos is currently heading, we don’t need to start testing at all.
“I think Sanwo-Olu is the right person for the job. This is not a paid promo or nothing. But just look at now, everything he’s done, common guys … he’s achieved a lot, the results are there, you get me, and he also has experience you know,” he said.
Sanwo-Olu has the potential to advance Lagos, the singer said.
“If it’s up to me, I’m confident he’ll advance Lagos. You can know by looking at the outcome; certainly, deeds speak louder than words. Common bro, if you look at all the active projects.
Naira Marley further emphasized that despite the current pattern of internet reaction that typically follows such open announcement, he cannot be silenced from expressing support for his favorite candidate.
