ENSURE GOOD GOVERNANCE IN OYO STATE – YUSUF URGES MAKINDE AS HE CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ON REELECTION

Gubernatorial caandidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in last Saturday’s governorship elections, Akim Adebola Yusuf mni, has congratulated the governor of Oyo State; Engr. Seyi Makinde; on his re-election for a second term as the governor of the State.
In a congratulatory letter personally signed by Yusuf, he wrote “My family and I congratulate you on your hard-fought victory at last Saturday’s
Governorship elections.
“Indeed, the people have spoken and I urge you and your team to live up to the highest standards of good governance in justifying the confidence reposed in you.”
Seyi Makinde, of the People Democratic Party (PDP) won the Oyo State Governorship elections after polling 563,756 votes to defeat his closest rival, Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 256,685 votes.
