The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Governor Bala Mohammed of the People’s Democratic Party the winner of the March 18, 2023 Bauchi State gubernatorial election, to serve for an additional four years.
Mohammed polled 525,280 to trounce his closest rival and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar who polled 432,272.
