
CINEMA INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA RECORDS N566 MILLION REVENUE IN APRIL

According to the organization, 220,781 people went to the movies in April as opposed to 174,071 people in March.
The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) said on Thursday that the country’s ticket sales in April brought in N566 million.
This information was revealed in a statement provided to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos by Opeyemi Ajayi, the national chairman of CEAN.
He claimed that as compared to March, there had been a noticeable increase in the amount of money made in April.
He said that N441 million in revenue was produced in March.
Ajayi added that 220,781 people went to the movies in April compared to 174,071 people in March.
“In the month of April, CEAN saw an increase in sales once more. We were able to bring in N566,755,146 in April, and 220,781 people entered theaters around the country.Domitilla, John Wick, Super Mario Boss, Honey Money, and The Bloom Boys were among the films featured in April.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Tue bride price, Love again, Fast X, and The Little Mermaid are still movies that moviegoers should keep an eye out for in May, he added.
