BREAKING: OBASEKI, ATIKU ATTEND PDP’S RECEPTION FOR NEW, RETURNING GOVERNORS
Early arrivals at the ongoing welcome and reception ceremony for new and returning governors elected on the Peoples Democratic Party platform include Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, and the governors of Taraba and Adamawa states, Darius Ishaku and Ahmadu Fintiri.
Chieftains of the party from all of its organs are anticipated to attend the event at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
Former Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Governor of Kaduna State Ahmed Makarfi, and Acting Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees Senator Adolphus Wabara are among those who have already taken their seats.
The guest speaker, Mudal Yusuf will speak on the theme, āGood governance at the sub-national level: Issues, perspectives, expectations and outcomes.ā
