
NAIJA SUPER 8: REMO STARS BEAT LOBI STARS 2-1 TO REACH FINAL

Remo Stars have made it through to the final of the Naija Super 8 tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, Onikan Lagos.
The Ikenne-based team defeated Lobi Stars 2-1 in their Semi Final clash on Friday.
Akanni Kudus opened the scoring for Remo Star in the 24th minute.
Nduka Junior doubled the lead just two minutes into the second half when he sublimely heads home a well delivered free kick.
Lobi Stars had a chance to get back into the game when Remo Sars defender committed a foul in the penalty area.
Joseph Atule calmly buried the penalty to pull one back but unfortunately Lobi Stars had no better chance for the rest of the game.
Overall, Remo Stars created the most chances of the game with Akanni being at the heart of everything good for the side. His performance earned him the man of the match award.
They await the winner of the second semifinal clash between Sporting Lagos and Akwa United.
