
IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA DISTRIBUTES PALLIATIVES TO DIFFERENT COMMUNITIES IN THE COUNCIL

On Thursday August 17 2023, the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Authority commenced the ‘Operation Feed the Elderly/Widows/Vulnerable Initiative’. The exercise was led by the LCDA’s Mayoress, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada who distributd palliative materials to members of the communities within the Council.
This initiative is to span three days.
On the first day, the Mayoress and her team distributed the palliative materials in Shangisha, Orisha, Akinpelumi, and Aromire communities of the Council.
Residents came out in their numbers to receive the packs containing rice, beans, and garri (cassava flakes). They were very appreciative, and also prayed for the sustainability of the community and the government.
