VIDEO: NIGERIA’S FIRST LADY, REMI TINUBU ARRIVES NEW YORK AHEAD OF 78TH UNGA
Prior to the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78), Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, arrived in New York.
Prof. Tijjani Bande, the Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the UN, welcomed her as she arrived.
Among other high-level gatherings, Senator Tinubu will speak at the Nigeria Economic Trade Summit, the Africa First Ladies Peace Mission side conference on Gender Actions for Peace, and the DUSUSU Foundation.
The First Lady briefly detoured from her journey to New York to meet with Alex Kefas, the Nigerian ambassador to Portugal, at Madeira International Airport in Portugal.
