Grammy-winning musician Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has made a financial offer to the Nigerian bloggers in exchange for their ceasing to criticise him.
The “I Told Them” singer said on Friday on his X account that while he had never paid a media outlet to promote his brand, he was now willing to do it in exchange for no media attention.
Burna tweeted, “How far. All these instablog, PulseNg e.t.c abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you, bros!!”
The singer’s career has been one of the most talked-about subjects in Nigerian media since he first came on the scene more than ten years ago.
