LASAA LAUNCHES 2024 MOBILE ADVERT PERMIT, NEW WEBSITE, CORPORATE LOGO

Along with a new website and corporate identity, the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency has officially introduced its 2024 mobile advertising permit.

The agency declared that it is dedicated to being on the cutting edge of technology, improving user experience, and remaining relevant in the ever-changing regulatory environment around outdoor advertising.

The Lagos State Government’s page on X (formerly Twitter) announced the news on Saturday.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LASAA, Fatiu Akiolu, said in his speech that the Mobile Advert Permit is a QR code that is encrypted, safe, and destined to change the state’s branded car registration procedure.

Akiolu claims that the distinct code, which consists of the year of the permit, the brand type, and the number plate, guarantees compliance and validity.

With LASAA’s bespoke QR code scanner, which is accessible online and offline, verification is expedited.

He noted that LASAA has decentralised the registration procedure in order to further enhance the simplicity of conducting business.

In an effort to bring the service closer to their homes and workplaces, he said that customers can now easily register their branded vehicles at any LASAA branch office throughout the state or online via the auto platform.

He said, “Today’s launch renders all existing branded vehicle permits obsolete, prompting clients, both prospective and existing, to commence immediate registration and permit renewal for the new year. LASAA emphasised strict compliance to avoid potential vehicle impoundment, with enforcement teams deployed across Lagos for comprehensive coverage.

“In tandem with the Mobile Advert Permit, LASAA has also introduced a technologically advanced website designed to elevate user experience, streamline navigation, and simplify interface interaction. The optimised site, visible in search results and fortified against security threats, aligns with the Agency’s dedication to technological innovation and enhanced service delivery.

“A pivotal aspect of the launch is the unveiling of LASAA’s revitalised logo, symbolising a forward-looking approach while maintaining the Agency’s core values. The redesigned logo reflects LASAA’s pivotal role in shaping the outdoor advertising landscape and adapting to the evolving dynamics of Lagos State’s business environment.

“Today marks a significant leap forward for LASAA. The Mobile Advert Permit, our new website, and refreshed logo are integral to our commitment to efficiency, innovation, and maintaining the highest standards in outdoor advertising regulation.”

Therefore, he extended an invitation to all interested parties, including clients and the general public, to visit the new website, interact with the mobile advertising permit system, and embrace the updated LASAA brand. He noted that these actions taken together solidify LASAA’s standing as a pioneer in the regulation of outdoor advertising and represent a daring step forward.

The regulatory organisation in charge of managing and overseeing outdoor advertising and signage displays in Lagos State is called LASAA.
